What is St. Norbert College Dance Marathon?
Dance Marathon is a student organization at St. Norbert College that is part of a nationwide movement known as the Miracle Network Dance Marathon (MNDM). This movement was created at Indiana University in 1991 in memory of a student by the name of Ryan White, who lost his life to AIDS at the age of 18. The MNDM consists of more than 250 U.S. high schools and colleges all working hard to raise money for their local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds FOR THE KIDS at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, while at the same time planning a 13.1-hour event to celebrate the funds we've raised. Our organization is made up of three different committees, each one doing its part to make Dance Marathon what it is.
